Welcome to GuestBot. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our AI-powered guest concierge service. By accessing or using GuestBot, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using GuestBot, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use GuestBot. By using our service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

2. Description of Service

GuestBot provides:

• AI-powered concierge chat for vacation rental guests
• QR code generation for property-specific help
• Booking management and iCal calendar synchronization
• Property information management

3. Account Registration

To use GuestBot, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 You Agree To:

• Use the service only for legitimate vacation rental purposes
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respect the privacy of your guests

4.2 You Agree NOT To:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Upload malicious code or attempt to hack the system
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission
• Share false or misleading property information
• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others

5. Property Owner Responsibilities

As a property owner using GuestBot, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You have the legal right to share property information and grant guest access
• You will obtain necessary consent before storing guest information
• You are responsible for the accuracy of all property details
• You will comply with all applicable hospitality and rental laws
• You will promptly update information when it changes

6. AI Service Limitations

We do not guarantee that AI responses will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation. Critical safety information should be communicated directly to guests.

7. Subscription and Billing

7.1 Free Tier

The free tier includes limited features as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free tier offerings at any time.

7.2 Paid Subscriptions

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are provided at our discretion

7.3 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance of new prices.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

GuestBot, including its design, features, and technology, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our service.

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you provide (property information, photos, etc.). You grant us a license to use this content to provide and improve our service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

GUESTBOT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• AI responses will be accurate or complete
• The service will meet your specific requirements
• Any errors will be corrected

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GUESTBOT AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Property damage or personal injury resulting from AI responses
• Unauthorized access to your account or data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GuestBot and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you provide to the service

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with or without notice.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting on our website or sending an email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

• Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them freely
